Gotta paint ‘em all: Pokémon creates a new exhibit at the Van Gogh Museum

(CNN) – Pokémon is partnering with the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam to show children in regards to the works of one of the well-known Dutch artists.

Various Pokémon-themed displays will run on the museum as a part of the museum’s fiftieth anniversary celebrations.

A museum spokeswoman stated the collaboration will enable the following technology to get to know Vincent Van Gogh’s artwork and life story in a refreshing method.

One exercise teaches guests how to attract Pikachu, the yellow character that is among the most recognizable faces of the Pokémon model.

One other exercise lays out the connection between Van Gogh and Japanese artwork and tradition which had a profound impression on his artwork and world view.

The collaboration begins Thursday and runs till Jan. 7.

A daily ticket to the museum is required for entry.
