GRIFFIN, Ga. – A person accused of homicide in Michigan has been arrested in Griffin, in line with Griffin police.
Griffin police mentioned they obtained a tip from Michigan State Police in September that Marquez Jones, who has been accused of homicide in Grand Rapids, Michigan, was residing in Griffin.
Police raided a house on the 1700 block of Carrington Drive Friday morning. Jones was reportedly taken into custody with out incident. Police additionally discovered “extra proof probably associated” to the Michigan case on the residence.
Jones is now awaiting extradition to Michigan, in line with police.
