Gabrielle Union Says Motherhood Later in Life Is ‘Worth it’: ‘I Became a Mom at the Right Time’

Gabrielle Union is discussing the rewards of motherhood afterward in life. 

The actress, 50, mentioned in an Instagram video posted Friday that she “turned a mother on the proper time” and shared that she had been in a position to “heal” from previous traumas and never move them on to daughter Kaavia James, 4.

In March, Union opened up extra about her function as a mother on the 2023 Movie Unbiased Spirit Awards following her and husband Wades’ emotional speech on the NAACP Picture Awards championing the battle for LGBTQ rights.
